ACES supports Gatwick Expansion Gatwick Airport have published a report detailing the impact Gatwick has on trade and investment in the South East. In recognition of our support for the expansion of Gatwick airport, ACES and Caroline Ansell, MP for Eastbourne and Willingdon, were invited to join CEO, Stewart Wingate and his team at the opening of Pier 5. The £85 million investment in the Gatwick North Terminal. Their multi-million investment programme to upgrade Piers, 1, 3 and 4 is designed to ensure Gatwick's growth and, having seen over 45 million journeys last year Gatwick is already the most efficient single runway airport in the world and the most customer friendly as well. With their huge investment programme Gatwick will continue to grow and feed the growth of the South East economy as a whole. |

Let's hope that the government recognises this continued investment and aloows Gatwick to expand onto the Northern runway. This expansion is recognised as beneficial to both the economy of the South East and the country as a whole.
